Two Men Found A Cougar Stuck In A Trap. It’s Amazing What They Do Next!

The cougar, also known as the mountain lion, puma, panther, or catamount, is a large felid of the subfamily Felinae native to the Americas. The cougar is found in most American habitat types. It is secretive and largely solitary by nature, being properly considered mostly nocturnal and crepuscular. The cougar is more closely related to smaller felines, including the domestic cat, than to any species of subfamily Pantherinae.

This video is about one of those things that feels like “first time” every time. In the mountains of Utah two conservation officers found an angry cougar, with one of his feet caught in a bobcat trap. The two men are determined to rescue the animal, even if they have put themselves in a big danger. They had no tranquilizer or any means to relax the cougar and he was getting more and more upset as he didn’t know that the men were trying to release him.

The officers carefully approach the poor cougar and get a loop around its neck. A real struggle begins as the mountain lion thrashes about. The two men knew that leaving the trapped lion there would leave him prey to other animals. So it wasn’t time to leave and come back with some means of tranquilizing.

The whole video is very intense, it makes you feel like you are there living those moments!
